Growing Stronger in Faith

As believers, we understand the importance of having a strong faith in God. 

It is through this faith that we are able to overcome obstacles and live a life in obedience to Him. 

However, maintaining a strong faith is not always easy, it requires a daily effort to strengthen our relationship with God.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”

Phillipians 4:13

One way to strengthen our faith is through daily prayer and reading of scripture. 

By consistently setting aside time to communicate with God and study His word, we are able to deepen our understanding and relationship with Him.

“And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him”

Hebrews 11:6

Another way to strengthen our faith is by surrounding ourselves with other believers. 

Joining a Bible study group or fellowship can provide support and encouragement in our walk with God.

“Let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

Hebrews 10:24-25

Let Us Pray

Dear Lord, we come to you recognising the importance of having a strong faith in you.

We thank you for the strength you give us to overcome obstacles and live a life in obedience to you. 

Help us to strengthen our faith by dedicating time to prayer and reading of scripture, and by surrounding ourselves with other believers. 

In Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
