Trusting In The Lord's Timing

As believers, it can be easy to get caught up in our own wants and desires, and to forget that God’s plans for us are greater than our own.

We may pray for certain things, and become frustrated or disappointed when they don’t happen in the way or the time that we want.

But it’s important to remember that God always fulfils His promises, even if He doesn’t give us everything we want.

“For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jeremiah 29:11

It’s important to trust in God’s timing.

He knows what is best for us, and His plans for us are perfect.

Sometimes, the things we think we want aren’t what’s best for us, and it’s only through waiting and trusting in His timing that we will see the full picture.

“But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.”

Isaiah 40:31

Let Us Pray
